HOW DO I ENROLL MY DOG IN DAYCARE OR BOARDING?
In order to sign new dogs up for daycare or boarding, simply fill out our enrollment form. Once we receive your form, we will send you a confirmation e-mail with information on how to get started!
WHAT VET RECORDS DO YOU REQUIRE?

HOW OLD DOES MY DOG HAVE TO BE TO COME PLAY?
Puppies must be at least 8 weeks of age to join our program.
IF I BOARD MY DOG, DO I PAY FOR DAYCARE TOO?
No! Daycare is included in the cost of boarding.
DO I NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION FOR DAYCARE?
No! We accept drop-ins for daycare daily. However, you MUST make a reservation for boarding.
HOW DO THE DOGS RELIEVE THEMSELVES WITHOUT GRASS?
Our clients never have an issue with relieving themselves on our pavement and turf. If your dog has never "pottied" on pavement before, they will learn by observing their friends. Our pavement and turf is cleanlier than grass and eliminates the risks of parasites or other dirt-born diseases. You can rest assured knowing your pooch won't return home covered in mud or dirt.
CAN I COME AND SEE THE FACILITY?
Yes, we welcome you to come and tour the facility via the security cameras located in our main office. Please call our office to arrange a tour in advance. Please leave your dog at home during your tour. They will not be allowed in the facility.
CAN I BRING MY DOG'S LUNCH TO DAYCARE?
Yes! Puppies and energetic dogs usually do NOT want to eat their lunch during nap time, so do not be surprised if your dog does not eat lunch while in daycare. If you believe that your dog needs a snack mid-day and you forgot to pack a lunch, you may purchase one from our Nap Time Menu, which is full of a variety of delicious & nutritious snacks that are tailor-made to encourage snacking during our group nap time. Sometimes kibble just isn't good enough to pique the dog's interest, especially in a new and stimulating environment, such as daycare!
CAN I PICK MY DOG UP PAST OFFICE HOURS?
Dogs that are not picked up during our office hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM on weekends, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM on weekdays) will be boarded overnight automatically. We do not allow late pickups, unless approved by the owner of the facility, Mary Beth, at least 24 hours in advance. Approved late pick-ups and early drop-offs cost $20 plus tax. Dogs that are dropped off for daycare in the morning cannot request a late pickup time on the same day. In case of emergencies, we do reserve a few boarding spots each night for our regular customers. Once our overnight staff is in back with the cage-free boarders, they cannot leave the group unattended to perform office duties.
WHAT IF I CANNOT FIND MY DOG'S MEDICAL RECORDS?
You may call or e-mail your vet, and provide them with our e-mail address, barkavenuepethouse@gmail.com, so that they may provide them for us.
DO YOU OFFER 2ND DOG DISCOUNTS?
No, we do not offer discounts for any additional dogs from the same family, as we are a resort-style facility, providing all-day supervision and structured play to each and every individual dog, rather than isolating siblings from the group. Every dog will be able to enjoy the same experience while under our care.
DO THE DOGS REALLY SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT?
At night, Bark Avenue transforms into a peaceful oasis designed for rest and relaxation. We have soft beds and ambient music playing throughout the building. Some dogs may not want playtime to be over when the lights go out, so these dogs will be placed in kennels overnight for their safety.
CAN I BRING RAW/REFRIGERATED FOOD?
You may bring any type of refrigerated or frozen food for your pets stay. We have refrigerators and freezers for storage.
CAN I PACK TREATS FOR MY PET'S STAY?
If your dog is boarding, you may include treats in your pet's individually packaged meals. Treats that are not included in the bagged meals will not be given.
ARE PERSONAL ITEMS ALLOWED IN THE PLAY PENS?
For everyone's safety, NO personal items such as toys or bedding are allowed into the facility.
